Stellantis debuted the 2025 Ram 1500 lineup on Nov. 7, with the announcement of the Ram 1500 and Ramcharger.
RAM 1500: THREE ENGINE OPTIONS
3.0-liter Hurricane Standard engine rated at 420 horsepower and 469 lb.-ft. of torque
3.0-liter Hurricane High Output engine rated at 540 horsepower and 521 lb.-ft. of torque
3.6 liter Pentastar V-6
Capability includes a maximum towing capacity of 11,580 pounds, a maximum payload of 2,300 pounds and up to 24 inches of water fording.
All three engine options offered with the 2025 Ram 1500 are paired with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission that optimizes smooth shift changes for fuel economy, performance and drivability.

RAM 1500 RAMCHARGER
The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger has a targeted range of up to 690 miles, thanks to a gasoline-powered generator.
With a 92-kwh battery pack, the Ramcharger will go
145 miles on electric-only power from the battery
then another 545 miles with the gasoline engine running a generator
The Ramcharger engine won’t have any direct connection to the wheels. That task will be handled by dual electric motor systems—250 kw in front and 238 in back. During driving the motors will optimize propulsion between front and rear, sometimes even just using one or the other, Ram said.
