Proper Tire Pressure
A loss in tire pressure is a normal thing. Each month a regular tire loses one to three psi due to osmosis. For every 10 psi your tires lose, you will experience a 1.5 percent hit to your fuel economy.

Over or Underinflated Tires
You can spot overinflated tires because they are often rigid and stiff, reducing the amount of contact with the road. This causes uneven wear on your tires. The wheels on your truck will experience greater damage by things like potholes.
Under inflated tires are easier to spot. These don’t hold their shape and are flatter to the ground, wearing down the tire tread. You will experience increased rolling resistance and lessened fuel economy in this situation.

However, by checking the pressure monthly, you can return your fleet in great shape, even after months on a construction site.
