Despite these major differences, cars and rental trucks are similar in that they both need frequent oil changes. Without this regular maintenance, you engine could suffer serious damage.
Each vehicle and oil type requires oil changes at different frequencies. Check you user manual to check your manufacturer’s recommendations. It may tell you to change your oil every 3,000 miles or it might let you go 15,000 miles before a change. Make sure you keep your car healthy by getting the oil changed.
