What “Wear and Tear” Means for our Trucks

When you rent trucks for Summit Fleet, you can trust their damage policy. We make a clear distinction between what is damage and what is normal wear and tear for our rental trucks.

Here are some examples of what is acceptable and unacceptable wear and tear.

Acceptable body damage is when professional repairs have been made to the vehicle. On the other hand, unacceptable body damage is when there is missing or damage moldings and panels.

Minor dents made to the truck are acceptable. Minor dents should be small enough that they don’t affect the panel’s structural integrity. The can be caused by debris hitting your truck, and that’s clearly out of control.
